Location

Within the village we are centrally located in the church square with very easy access to local bars and local shops. The swimming pool (which is open between June and September) is just 2 minutes walk away.

We are fortunate in Montichelvo to have two bars, both being typical Spanish bars as this really is not the usual tourist area. They both have their own characters and are great places to sit, perhaps with a cold beer and tapas, to unwind and soak up el ambiente (the atmosphere). We also have two small supermarkets, butchers, bakers, a chemist and a hairdressers so most everyday requirements are catered for.

Within 5kms there are larger towns with a wider choice of shops, banks, discoteques, garages etc. And restaurants with superb three course menu-del-dias from just 7.50 euro!

It's very unusual to hear English being spoken around here so if you're looking to practice your Spanish this is the place for you! If not - then your phrasebook will be very useful and we are on hand to help where we can.
